Ολοκληρώθηκε λίγο μετά τις 9 το βράδυ της Τετάρτης η συνάντηση του αντιπροέδρου της κυβέρνησης και υπουργού Οικονομικών Ευάγγελου Βενιζέλου με την τρόικα.
Στη συνάντηση έγινε επισκόπηση του συνόλου των θεμάτων που συγκαταλέγονται στο νέο πρόγραμμα και λειτουργούν ως προϋπόθεση για τη σύναψη της νέας δανειακής σύμβασης.
Ακόμα, οριστικοποιήθηκε το χρονοδιάγραμμα των επαφών οι οποίες θα πραγματοποιηθούν τις επόμενες μέρες με εντατικό ρυθμό, τόσο για το PSI όσο και για την ολοκλήρωση της διαπραγμάτευσης γύρω από το νέο πρόγραμμα.
Την Πέμπτη θα συνεχιστούν στην Αθήνα σε τεχνικό επίπεδο οι συζητήσεις για το PSI, ενώ μέχρι το Σάββατο το πρωί θα γίνουν ειδικότερες συναντήσεις για τα δημοσιονομικά, τα εργασιακά, τα ασφαλιστικά και τα διαρθρωτικά ζητήματα ανάμεσα στην τρόικα, την κυβέρνηση και τα κόμματα που λαμβάνουν μέρος στην Κυβέρνηση.

Μιλώντας στο Mega τις πρωινές ώρες της Παρασκευής, η Συνήγορος του Πολίτη Καλλιόπη Σπανού χαρακτήρισε το μέτρο της διακοπής του ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος στα νοικοκυριά «υπέρμετρα επαχθές μέτρο» και τόνισε ότι η καταβολή του τέλους ακινήτων δεν πρέπει να συνδυαστεί με τη διακοπή ηλεκτροδότησης, ειδικά εξαιτίας της σημασίας που έχει το ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα για τη ζωή του ανθρώπου.
Επιπλέον, ο επίτροπος Ενέργειας Γκίντερ Έτιγκερ ξεκαθάρισε πως η διακοπή ρεύματος από τη ΔΕΗ σε περίπτωση μη καταβολής του ειδικού τέλους ακινήτων παραβιάζει κοινοτική οδηγία.
Ο Ευρωπαίος επίτροπος απαντώντας σε σχετική ερώτηση του ευρωβουλευτή του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, Νίκου Χουντή, τονίζει πως η ΔΕΗ δεν έχει δικαίωμα να κόψει το ρεύμα σε κανέναν πολίτη που δεν πληρώνει το τέλος, αλλά πληρώνει κανονικά το λογαριασμό του ρεύματος.
Την ίδια ώρα, συνεχίζεται την Παρασκευή η απεργιακή κινητοποίηση που έχει εξαγγείλει η ΓΕΝΟΠ-ΔΕΗ για τους εργαζόμενους στη διεύθυνση πληροφορικών συστημάτων. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι οι τεχνικοί πληροφορικής της ΔΕΗ δεν θα επιληφθούν του προβλήματος που έχει προκύψει με το ηλεκτρονικό σύστημα Ερμής, μέσω του οποίου γίνονται συναλλαγές από το διαδίκτυο και τα ΑΤΜ.
