An Egyptair plane escorted by the British army because of a suspicious notes

An Egyptair flight liaison between Cairo and New York was diverted Saturday, June 15 on the UK from Glasgow Prestwick airport after "the discovery aboard a suspect notes," police said, forcing the army air to escort the device.

"At about 16 am 20 today (Saturday), a unit liaison Egyptair Cairo to New York was diverted to Prestwick Airport after the discovery aboard a suspect notes," said the Scottish police in a statement. "No casualties have been reported," she-said, adding that the 326 passengers who were still on board the aircraft grounded late Saturday afternoon, will all be interviewed by the police.

The aircraft, a Boeing 777, was escorted by the Royal Air Force until the Scottish airport "following an incident on board," said the British Ministry of Defence, stating that one or more jets Typhoon intervened.
