A corruption scandal threatens the Indian Prime Minister

Spanish regions singled out as the main risk factor for the deficit
Spanish regions have been singled out for their overspending, but this is the first study to pilloried in this way. The choice of inflation from the ECB is disastrous for youth
Mario Draghi, the chairman of the European Central Bank (ECB) has decided to use "printing money" to resolve insurmountable debt from several European countries. This means that the balance sheet of the ECB will continue to slide into immoderation, reaching levels not seen in modern capitalist economies. It will give even thousands of billion more to help those who can not repay, including governments and other private or public institutions mismanaged.
This process is as old as the existence of money. It is printing money to pay the debts of a State and its failed banks. Moult governments have used in the past and the result was always the same: money gradually loses its value because the increase in money supply leads to higher asset prices (real estate, commodities, stocks, etc..) and consumer goods. This is a politically convenient solution in the short term but that is pushing up prices in the medium term, and ultimately erodes the purchasing power of those who are on fixed incomes. In short, what the state pays one side with money out of nowhere, he begins again with the price increase. This "monetary inflation" is a tax imposed by the ECB on behalf of the States.
Of all the possible taxation, monetary inflation is the most unequal. Indeed, the income tax is progressive and affects only the wealthiest, what is acceptable. The EU will not find its unity by copying the U.S. financial model completely bankrupt and generating social inequalities.
The federal Europe can not offer a less equitable than the constituent States. It will only survive if young people are doing brisk business, and for that, we must accept deflation natural heritage and therefore tolerate some states do default on their sovereign debt. In other words, accept the inevitable bankruptcy of some banks. Boomers will be the losers, but rightly so. It is they who have created and accumulated debts of the system for thirty years without working and thrive on the laurels usurped. They will still need young people to pay their pensions and their medical expenses. The European financial crisis of our parents will have been resolved in social justice and it can serve as a democratic base for European integration. But now, our political leaders refuse sovereign defaults. They talk about the disastrous consequences which we would not survive. Everything must be put in place to prevent the crisis and thus defend the retirements of assets and their congeners. Mario Draghi is asked to intervene with his printing press. So much for inflation! Too bad for the poor! Too bad for the young! Too bad for Europe! This is a historic mistake.
Baby boomers are part of a generation that defined itself in the struggle of classes by rebelling against their elders. Their great discovery was the consumption and individual pleasure, and great political project the increase in purchasing power through debt. In the 1970s, they ruined their parents by granting itself by force of wage increases and new social protections.
Today the baby-boomers become bosses, shareholders all-out, property owners, politicians, refuse to pay their debts or having their financial assets decline because they guarantee their lifestyle. When their financial interests are threatened by the crisis, they use the state and now the ECB to protect themselves.

European political parties of the left who advocate for the most part the need to involve the ECB to increase inflation, must realize that the price surge is not corrected by higher wages.
Young Europeans will soon understand that the proposed economic solutions to save Europe are primarily used their forefathers. They will have lost confidence in leaders discredited and turn to political solutions, certainly alternatives, but extremist and dangerous. Europe will not survive.

This is a politically convenient solution in the short term but that is pushing up prices in the medium term, and ultimately erodes the purchasing power of those who are on fixed incomes. In short, what the state pays one side with money out of nowhere, he begins again with the price increase. This "monetary inflation" is a tax imposed by the ECB on behalf of the States.

The EU will not find its unity by copying the U.S. financial model completely bankrupt and generating social inequalities.
The federal Europe can not offer a less equitable than the constituent States. It will only survive if young people are doing brisk business, and for that, we must accept deflation natural heritage and therefore tolerate some states do default on their sovereign debt. In other words, accept the inevitable bankruptcy of some banks. This will result in acceleration of the financial crisis but also an outcome faster and fairer youth will be the major beneficiaries of this crisis because they can finally buy the property acquired by their parents at acceptable prices!
Boomers will be the losers, but rightly so. It is they who have created and accumulated debts of the system for thirty years without working and thrive on the laurels usurped. They will still need young people to pay their pensions and their medical expenses. The European financial crisis of our parents will have been resolved in social justice and it can serve as a democratic base for European integration. But now, our political leaders refuse sovereign defaults. They talk about the disastrous consequences which we would not survive. Everything must be put in place to prevent the crisis and thus defend the retirements of assets and their congeners. Mario Draghi is asked to intervene with his printing press. So much for inflation! Too bad for the poor! Too bad for the young! Too bad for Europe! This is a historic mistake.
Baby boomers are part of a generation that defined itself in the struggle of classes by rebelling against their elders. Their great discovery was the consumption and individual pleasure, and great political project the increase in purchasing power through debt. In the 1970s, they ruined their parents by granting itself by force of wage increases and new social protections.
Today the baby-boomers become bosses, shareholders all-out, property owners, politicians, refuse to pay their debts or having their financial assets decline because they guarantee their lifestyle. They do not increase the wages of young (less likely) because they want to preserve the margins of their businesses that provide their income. When their financial interests are threatened by the crisis, they use the state and now the ECB to protect themselves.
By refusing to accept the faults of the States, they bequeath inflation and insurmountable debts to their children. European political parties of the left who advocate for the most part the need to involve the ECB to increase inflation, must realize that the price surge is not corrected by higher wages.
Young Europeans will soon understand that the proposed economic solutions to save Europe are primarily used their forefathers. They will have lost confidence in leaders discredited and turn to political solutions, certainly alternatives, but extremist and dangerous. Europe will not survive.

Ryan and Obama clash on farmland in Iowa
President Barack Obama accused Monday, August 13th the new running mate of Republican Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, came to challenge him on farmland in Iowa (center), have blocked aid to farmers despite the drought. "If you cross the representative [Paul] Ryan, tell him how this farm bill is important for Iowa and rural populations," said the outgoing Democratic president in the first step, Council Bluffs, a tour three-day coach in that State for the crucial November election.
Republican Paul Ryan, who has re-energized his camp Saturday after his appointment, had come to steal the show by going to his side to the Iowa State Fair, a large agricultural show several days in Des Moines. In this state covered with cornfields, Bush referred to the record drought currently affecting the United States and accused Mr. Ryan to be part of those in Congress voted against aid to farmers, calling it "Republican ideologue" of the Capitol, the seat of Congress.
Iowa State is considered an "undecided" even though he has voted only once for a Republican since Ronald Reagan's reelection in 1984. It is also the state where Barack Obama has built the basis of the popular movement that brought him to win the Democratic nomination in 2008 against Hillary Clinton. The president has certainly seen Ryan "a good father." "This is a good spokesperson to convey the vision of Governor Romney, but the problem is that I profoundly disagree with this vision," he said.

The Democrats responded by denouncing the "radicalism" of their program and proposed that elected 42 years, also chairman of the Budget Committee in the House of Representatives, which would, according to them, slashing the public assistance program the elderly, Medicare.
Mr. Ryan is "the architect of a plan to end Medicare as we know it (...) and to pay thousands of dollars for senior citizens," pointed David Axelrod, the campaign team of President Obama.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have rejected these criticisms by arguing that the reforms were intended to save Medicare from bankruptcy, not to eliminate it. "My mother receives aid Medicare in Florida", said Mr Ryan, suggesting "a reform for those of us who are younger." A member of the Romney campaign denied that the absence of Mr. Ryan in Florida is related to fear a hostile reception, number of people residing in that State.
In St. Augustine Monday, Florida, Mitt Romney, meanwhile, celebrated in that other State-key American victories at the Olympics and his country's progress in space, a crowd more sparse than that drawn this week -end by her duet with Mr. Ryan.
The national polls show a clear lead for Obama over his Republican rival. Thursday, a Fox News poll gave 49% of the vote to Barack Obama, against 40% for Mitt Romney.

Μαχαίρι σε συντάξεις και αλλαγές στο καθεστώς συνταξιοδότησης στα μέτρα του Αυγούστου
Περικοπές σε συντάξεις και αύξηση των ορίων συνταξιοδότησης περιλαμβάνει το πακέτο μέτρων που πρόκειται να ανακοινωθεί εντός του μηνός.
Σύμφωνα με άρθρο του Βήματος της Κυριακής, πρόκειται να μειωθεί στο μισό η δεύτερη σύνταξη που λαμβάνουν οι 600.000 διπλοσυνταξιούχοι, ενώ εξετάζεται να μπει νέο μαχαίρι στις συντάξεις άνω των 1.600 ευρώ. Στην κατηγορία αυτή υπάγονται περίπου 400.000 συνταξιούχοι.
Επιπροσθέτως, αναμένονται νέες αλλαγές στο ασφαλιστικό. Τα σενάρια που μελετώνται είναι δύο:
Να αυξηθεί το γενικό όριο ηλικίας από τα 65 στα 66 έτη και να ανασταλεί ώς το 2015 η απονομή πρόωρων συντάξεων.
Να μην αυξηθεί το όριο ηλικία πάνω από τα 65 έτη, αλλά να καταργηθούν διά νόμου από την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2013 όλες οι εξαιρέσεις και δυνατότητες συνταξιοδότησης κάτω των 65 χρόνων.
Οι αλλαγές δεν θα θίγουν όσους είναι ασφαλισμένοι προ του 1983 και πρόκειται να συνταξιοδοτηθούν με τη συμπλήρωση 35ετίας ή όσους ασφαλίστηκαν μέχρι το 1993 και συμπληρώνουν 37 χρόνια ασφάλισης.

Με το πρώτο φως της ημέρας στην μάχη της κατάσβεσης ρίχτηκαν 11 αεροπλάνα και 7 ελικόπτερα, μεταξύ αυτών δύο στρατιωτικά Σινούκ κάνοντας ρίψεις νερού. Από ξηράς επιχειρούν δεκάδες πυροσβέστες, ενώ πεζοπόρα τμήματα, εθελοντές, και δυνάμεις του στρατού συνδράμουν το έργο της κατάσβεσης.
Αναλυτικότερα, με εντολή του υπουργού Εθνικής Άμυνας, Πάνου Παναγιωτόπουλου, διατέθηκαν 5 αεροπλάνα CL-415, 9 αεροπλάνα CL-215, 2 ελικόπτερα CH-47D, 21 αξιωματικοί και 268 οπλίτες από ΓΕΣ, 20 σμηνίτες από ΓΕΑ, 40 οχήματα διαφόρων τύπων, 4 ρυμουλκά, 7 υδροφόρες, 7 προωθητές γαιών και 6 αρματοφορείς.
Βοήθεια έχει φτάσει και από τη Σερβία, καθώς η Μονή Χιλανδαρίου είναι σέρβικο μοναστήρι.
